What is PSSSP? 

The Post-Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP) provides financial assistance to Listuguj Mi'gmaq students who have been accepted into eligible College or University programs that offer:

  • University & College Entrance Preparation

  • Certificate or Diploma

  • Undergraduate Degree

  • Graduate Degree or Professional Degree

  • Doctorate Degree

To be eligible for assistance, to continue receiving funding, Eligible Programs, Eligible Institutes, Priority Selection Categories, Multiple Programs

Eligible Expenditures

Application fees, Tuition, Books, Living Allowance, Alternate Earnings, Residence / Dorms, Travel, Part-time Students, Maximum Allowable Support. 

Monitoring & Accountability

Satisfactory Academic Standing, Probation & Cessation, Student Debt

Appeal Process

If an applicant believes that he/she has been dealt with unfairly; under the applicable PSSSP Guidelines can appeal the decision or practice.

Incentives & Scholarships

In recognition of academic achievement, the LED/LMG may award additional financial awards.
