What we Offer
The First Nations Regional Adult Education Centre's vision is to inspire the foundation with a mission of encouraging, empowering, and educating an adult learner's full potential. Based on this, the centre's commitment to learning is focused on an adult centred approach which means that the adult learner's needs are identified as the core of their learning plan and environment. We encourage personal growth in all aspects of their educational development, along with support and guidance to ensure success in their educational journey.
If you’re not sure of what you need to graduate or what educational options are available to you, we will work with you to find the right education path, assist you through your educational journey, and support your needs.
We offer ministry accredited education to allow adult learners to obtain the following:

This remarkable growth reflects the hard work and determination of our learners, as well as the ongoing support from our staff, partners and the wider community.

Student-Designed Learning
At the EG we believe that a responsive and inclusive approach to education best serves our community. Our adult learners play an active role in shaping both new and existing programs, helping to ensure that what we offer meets their needs, goals, and aspirations.
How to Register
To register, please call 418-788-9078 and ask for the Academic & Guidance Counsellor (Bella Moffat) to set up an appointment. You’ll need to bring two valid picture IDs, for example:

Status card
-
Driver’s License
OR
-
Medicare card
Registration is ongoing throughout the year. We will provide the registration forms for you to fill out. After submitting your application, we will determine the best option for your education path and start planning your future.
Please ensure all of your IDs are up to date and not expired.
