Monday, January 12, 2026 – CLOSURE Due to current weather conditions, the Alaqsite’w Gitpu School will be closed today.

Our last day of school at AGS before the holiday break will be  Friday, December 19th. Early Dismissal Schedule: Wednesday, December 17th Last day for K4 Thursday, December 18th Last day for Kindergarten Friday, December 19th Grades 1 to 4: 9:45 a.m. Grades 5 to 8: 10:45 a.m.

The Gitpu Cafe will be serving a Christmas Turkey Dinner on Thursday, December 18th. Please note that this is for students and staff only.

Important Notice to Parents Please be advised that the December 17th PD Day is cancelled and students will have class all day. As a result, the January 28th PD Day will be a full day off for students.

Please submit your list of registered courses for the Winter 2026 semester. Also, please remember to submit your Fall grades as soon as you receive them or by January 16th, 2026 at the latest. The Listuguj Enhancement Team is excited to offer drumming classes to Listuguj SSHS students. Classes will take place in the SSHS Music Room from 12:30 to 1:00 as per the schedule listed on the poster. Please contact Bobbi Madahbee to sign up.

Our annual Christmas Concert is happening on Wednesday, December 10th. Our students have worked hard and can’t wait to perform for you. Schedule: Nursery to Grade 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Our next Professional Development at the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School is Wednesday, November 26th. There will be no classes for students.
