Wednesday, April 29th, is a Professional Development Day at the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School. Students will have half a day of school. Early Dismissal Schedule: • K4 to Grade 4 students will leave at 11:30 a.m. • Grade 5 to Grade 8 students will leave at 12:30 p.m.

We're hosting our Star Student Awards on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026. Each month during these assemblies, we celebrate our students' hard work and success. Families are invited to join us in the cafeteria at the following assembly times: 8:45 - 9:15 for grades 5 to 8 9:30 - 10:00 for grades 2 to 4 10:30 - 11:00 for grades K4 to 1

The Alaqsite'w Gitpu School is hosting a bottle drive in these days leading up to Earth Day, April 22nd. The class with the most bottles collected will win a pizza party generously donated by Mr. Chad. Bottles only. No cans, please. Let's work together to keep our planet and community clean. Remember to reduce, reuse, and recycle!

This Earth Day, we want to hear our students' ideas on how to make AGS a greener school. How can we reduce our waste? Improve our recycling efforts? Use energy more sustainably? Each class is invited to create a one-page proposal by Earth Day, April 22nd, and submit it to Ms. Joanna.

The Alaqsite'w Gitpu School has rescheduled Siggw Culture Day to Friday, April 10th. The community is welcome to join us in the gym at 10:00 a.m. to cheer on our dancers and drummers.

We're taking Graduation photos this Thursday, March 19, 2026 for Nursery and Grade 8. This is the only time available for photos, and there will be no retakes. All attire is provided, cap, gown, shirts, etc.

The Alaqsite'w Gitpu School is hosting a Book Fair from March 16th to 20th. The Book Fair will be open to the public during school operating hours. We're once again looking for book fairies to help make this event a successs. What is a Book Fairy? Book fairies are parents, grandparents or businesses who want to make a donation to the book fair. Their gifts help cover the cost of a book (up to $20) for students who may not have money for the fair or need just a little extra to

The Listuguj Enhancement Team is excited to offer drumming classes to Listuguj SSHS students. Classes will take place in the SSHS Music Room from 12:30 to 1:00 as per the schedule listed on the poster. Please contact Bobbi Madahbee to sign up.
