Due to the weather forecast, our Foam Fiesta Party has been moved to tomorrow (Thursday) and will take place between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Classes have been assigned scheduled times to participate throughout the afternoon. Join us for this year's Pride Walk on Wednesday, June 3rd, starting at 8:20 a.m. We will gather at the Powwow Grounds and walk toward AGS. Busses will drop off students who wish to participate at the Powwow Grounds before 8:20 a.m. Parents may do the same if their child does not take the bus. Thank you for your cooperation!

Attention Parents of Grade 8 Graduates Grade 8 Prom will be tomorrow, May 27th in the AGS gym. Pictures will be taken from 6:30 to 7:00. The prom will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 27th is a Professional Development Day at the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School. Students will have half a day of school. Early Dismissal Schedule: • K4 to Grade 4 students will leave at 11:30 a.m. • Grade 5 to Grade 8 students will leave at 12:30 p.m.

We're hosting a Makers' Market on Friday, May 8th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Our students will be making and selling their own products. May 5th is Red Dress Day, also known as the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit People. In Canada, Indigenous women, girls and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community continue to face disproportionate amounts of violence. Please help us raise awareness of gendered violence by wearing red on Tuesday, May 5th.
