There is a planned power outage scheduled for tomorrow, June 16th, for the majority of Listuguj, affecting over 500 addresses. As a result, there will be no school for students at the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School.

Attention all Listuguj Students Attending AGS and Local Provincial Schools from Grades 7 to 12 It is required for all students eligible (Grades 7-12) for school allowance cheques (which are based on attendance at school) to submit a completed LISTUGUJ EFT FORM (Electronic Funds Transfer Form) and a Void cheque from your bank account. Join us for this year's Pride Walk on Wednesday, June 3rd, starting at 8:20 a.m. We will gather at the Powwow Grounds and walk toward AGS. Busses will drop off students who wish to participate at the Powwow Grounds before 8:20 a.m. Parents may do the same if their child does not take the bus. Thank you for your cooperation!

Attention Parents of Grade 8 Graduates Grade 8 Prom will be tomorrow, May 27th in the AGS gym. Pictures will be taken from 6:30 to 7:00. The prom will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 27th is a Professional Development Day at the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School. Students will have half a day of school. Early Dismissal Schedule: • K4 to Grade 4 students will leave at 11:30 a.m. • Grade 5 to Grade 8 students will leave at 12:30 p.m.

The Alaqsite'w Gitpu School is creating PBIS guidelines (Positive Behaviour Interventions and Supports) to implement next school year. We teamed up with a group of students yesterday to collaborate on these behaviour guidelines and how they will be promoted. Their contribution to our school is something to be proud of! We're looking forward to continuing this work to improve responsibility, accountability and safety within our school.

Are you starting Post-Secondary studies in the Fall? The deadline to apply for funding is Tuesday, June 30th. Returning post-secondary students must apply for funding no later than Sunday, May 31st and must attach their official transcripts. You can download the funding application here.
