The Alaqsite’w Gitpu School will celebrate Gesig Culture Day this Friday, January 26. All students are encouraged to wear their traditional regalia. On our last culture day, we had the moose call contest and had lots of fun. For this culture day, we will be having a Kojua Dance Contest.
In the afternoon, we will be serving Lusgnign and Moose Sausages for students to taste. These will be prepared by our Culinary Class led by Shera Wysote with moose meat donated by our Outdoor Education program.
