Today, the Polyvalente Roland-Pepin and Le Galion des Appalaches officially raised the Mi'gmaq flag. This marks an important step in reconciling our relationships. Many officials who were present, recognized and stated that we are located on unceded Mi'gmaq Territory.
Chad Gedeon smudged the flag, as Derek Barnaby sang the Honor Song, and students from PRP and Le Galion des Appalaches raised the flag.
It was a beautiful day to celebrate positive relationships moving forward!
