Sneaker and School Supplies Reimbursement 2026

The Listuguj Education Directorate announces August 4, 2026, as the start of the Sneaker and School Supplies Reimbursement program and will run until November 30, 2026.  

Full-time elementary and secondary school students residing in Listuguj and confirmed on the school’s Confirmation of Enrolment (Nominal Roll) are eligible.  Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) requires that student files include the latest report card and a valid ID (Medicare, birth certificate and status card). 

All original receipts and updated student information must be attached to the Reimbursement form.   The reimbursement and EFT forms can be picked up at the Education Complex or downloaded here:

Payments will be issued through direct deposit.  If you have questions or need to update banking information, contact the LMG Finance Department.

AGS students are eligible for sneaker reimbursement, while Provincial school students will be reimbursed for both.  The maximum amount reimbursed is based on the student’s grade.

• Nursery to Grade 5: $100

• Grades 6-8: $110

• Grades 9-12: $120

These procedures shall be reviewed annually and may be amended from time to time.  The amendments shall be approved by the Director of Education.
