The Alaqsite’w Gitpu School will have its Annual Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 10th, at 10:30 a.m. (doors open at 10:00 a.m.) Community members are welcome to join us in the gym as we honour our veterans and community members currently in service.
As an extra thank you for their services, students in our horticulture program have started a poppy garden at the Veteran’s Memorial in front of the school. The poppies will bloom in July and August 2023. Stay tuned for an updated picture of the garden.
