Truth & Reconciliation

Spirit Bear TV

This is a description of the website or document you maybe viewing:
Stories can help us learn about history, ask important questions, and better understand the role each of us can play in creating a more equitable future for First Nations kids. In Spirit Bear: Echoes of the Past, Spirit Bear travels to the Songhees and Esquimalt territories (Victoria, British Columbia), where he learns about Dr. Peter Henderson Bryce and the importance of truth-telling in reconciliation.
This family-friendly film encourages viewers to think critically about history, fairness, and how learning from the past can help guide positive change today.
🎬 Watch for free on Spirit Bear TV: https://vimeo.com/spiritbeartv
After watching, take some time to talk with family, friends, or classmates about what you learned. What lessons from the past can help build a more fair and equitable future for First Nations children and youth?
