Subject: Safety Update from AGS

Gwe’ parents and guardians,

We want to take a moment to share an important update regarding a safety matter that occurred on school grounds.

Earlier today, during our regular supervision of the bus loading area, a staff member discovered a small bag containing what appeared to be drug-related paraphernalia. As per our safety protocols, the item was immediately reported to local authorities and has since been removed by the police for proper investigation.

We want to reassure families that no students were involved or in direct contact with the item. We take the safety of our students and staff very seriously, and we will continue to be vigilant. As an added precaution, our team will be conducting daily checks around the school grounds to ensure the environment remains safe and secure for all.

We also encourage parents and guardians to have a conversation at home with their child(ren) about the importance of not touching or picking up unknown items they may see in the community. Instead, they should notify a trusted adult right away.

We are grateful to our staff for their attentiveness and swift action. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the school administration.
