MADD Presentation - 'Over the Edge'

This year, MADD - Mothers Against Drunk Drivers - will be presentating at AGS to the grades 7 & 8 classes as well as Miss Jean's 6/7 class on January 29th, 2026.

The presentation entitled 'Over the Edge' includes information about the dangers and consequences of impaired driving, smoking cannabis, mixing cannabis and alcohol, accepting rides from impaired drivers, peer pressure, alcohol abuse, binge drinking, the emotional toll on friends and families, and the legal and financial consequences. There is also a strong message of personal responsibility in choices and decision making.

Information sessions on the above topics will be delivered to the classes before the presentation. If anyone has any questions or concerns, you can contact your child's teacher or the guidance counsellor at the school.
