The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Development Council (LMDCouncil) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer LaBillois-Metallic as the new Listuguj Mi’gmaq Development Centre (LMDCentre) Director.
Jennifer’s 26 years of experience in the various roles of Summer Student Employment Coordinator, Program Officer, Professional Training Coordinator, Labour Market Information Coordinator, Employment Counselor and Associate Director have prepared her to undertake this important role.
Jennifer thanks the LMDCouncil for their confidence and support in appointing her as the new Director of the LMDCentre. She also would like to recognize the former Directors Victoria LaBillois and Lorna Sook for their leadership and guidance all these years. Both Mi’gmaq women have created a solid foundation for the LMDCenter to continue its work in developing an independent, skilled Mi’gmaq Labour Force.
The LMDCentre team and its new Director look forward to ensuring continued quality employment and training programming for Listugujawaq.
