This program provides essential skills to manage housing projects, activities and programs in Aboriginal communities. The program provides an understanding of the fundamentals of construction and renovation as they relate to the role and responsibilities of the housing manager in Aboriginal communities:
House construction;
Selecting and adapting house plans and building materials;
Site management;
Contracts;
Principles of green building; and
Best practices for renovation management.
The Housing Management Program will be offered online. The schedule will be Mondays to Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
