Enhancement Memo - Direct Deposit for School Cheques

Dear parents and guardians,

This memo is for all Listuguj students attending provincial schools, such as Sugarloaf Senior High School, Polyvalente Roland-Pépin, the Escuminac School and le Galion des Appalaches.

We would like to inform you that LMG will no longer be issuing cheques for student allowances. To streamline our payment process, all future payments will be made via direct deposit.

Each student must have a personal bank account set up to receive these payments. Once this is done, you can pick up and fill out an EFT Enrolment form at the Education Complex. We will also need a void cheque or direct deposit slip (available from every bank).

As this change is being implemented on short notice, students who qualify for an allowance will temporarily receive their payment in cash. However, direct deposit will be mandatory starting at the end of January 2026. This provides ample time to establish a student bank account.
