AGS Summer Camps

We are pleased to announce our AGS Summer Camps!


**Please note that we will not provide transportation to and from the camp locations.


NIPGEWI GINA'MASUTI


Date: 'Ps'guigu's 4 - 15 (Monday to Friday)

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Location: Education Complex (drop-off and pick-up)

Age: 6 to 8 (at the date of registration due date)


Activities: Hand drumming, arts and crafts, Mi'gmaq songs, storytelling, making lusgnign along with guest speakers. Trips for swimming, picnicking, playgrounds, water park, etc.


Goal: Opportunity for our children to enjoy their summer while speaking Mi'gmaq regularly.


Requirements: Parents must pack a lunch while we provide healthy snacks throughout the day.

HOW TO MAKE A ROCK BAND 101 (MUSIC)


Date: July 4 - 29 (Monday - Thursday)

Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Age: 10+

Goal: Perform in a rock show!

STEAM


Date: July 25 - 29

Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Location: AGS Media Lab

Age: Middle School (12-15 participants)


Activities: coding, woodworking, robotics, flying drones, gaming, 3D printing, learning to use underwater drone, Miguasha Fossil museum, etc.

MEDIA PRODUCTION (Audio/Visual)


Date: August 1 - 5

Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Location: AGS Media Lab

Age: Middle School (12-15 participants)


Activities: photography, recording, and video editing. Students will create a final project to present to parents.
