AGS Receives Bald Eagle Donation

The Alaqsite'w Gitpu School was honoured to receive a bald eagle this morning from community member Ryan Wysote. This young eagle was found along the shores of Miguasha.

Miss Karen's class gathered with Chris and Ryan to offer thanks to the eagle and respectfully welcome it to our school. Students also received teachings about the eagle and how it represents Love, one of our seven sacred teachings.

We are grateful to learn and reflect on these important teachings together. Wela'lieg Ryan for this incredible gift.
