Thirteen students from the Alaqsite’w Gitpu School travelled to Québec City to compete in the FNEC Inter-School Games from May 17th to 22nd. The First Nations Inter-School Games bring together hundreds of students between the ages of 10 and 18 at the end of each school year. Disciplines include track and field, floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, and obstacle course racing.
Our students competed in the basketball and floor hockey tournaments. Both teams played hard and finished in 3rd place in their sports. Way to go, kids!
